Monday Thoughts

The weather is gloomy. I don’t feel like working out, especially now that it’s been a month. One failed workout somehow led me to a month break, and while It may sound like i’m complaining, I swear i’m not. It’s been admittedly nice to have the additional rest.

Productivity is particularly hard working from home. It feels like there is too much to potentially accomplish because of the “flexibility” we have juggling work and life from one space. Brew coffee, throw in a load of laundry, defrost food that you want to have for dinner, commute to desk for “work.” We’ve grown comfortable at home and while it may be nice to not have to commute every day anymore, we have to be particularly mindful of having patience, giving ourselves grace and ensuring we move our bodies to keep our mind/body connection strong. To prevent depressive habits, we have to stay both organized and on top of our own needs. We are all the queens & kings of giving ourselves to others when we have nothing to give to ourselves.

So sending you into this week with a friendly reminder to take care of yourself; Take care of your body, take care of your brain and be mindful in how you recharge and what allows you to feel a sense of restoration.

Happy Monday friends, be well & stay grounded ✨
